PangoBot is a free Discord bot for Dota 2 communities. By inviting the bot to a server or running any of its commands, you agree to these terms.

The service

PangoBot answers Dota 2 questions in Discord using slash commands. It is provided as is, free of charge, with no service-level agreement, uptime guarantee, or warranty of any kind. Match data, counter suggestions, and item builds are informational only and may be inaccurate, out of date, or removed at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the bot to harass, dox, or target individuals.
• Automate, script, or otherwise abuse the bot's commands in a way that places undue load on it or on the third-party APIs it depends on (OpenDota, Steam).
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the bot, its host, or its source data.

The bot may rate-limit, ignore, or block any user, channel, or server at the operators' discretion, with or without notice.

Third-party services

PangoBot relies on Discord, OpenDota, and the Steam Web API. Your use of the bot is also subject to those services' own terms. PangoBot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation, Discord Inc., OpenDota, or Steam. “Dota 2” and related marks are property of Valve Corporation.

No liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the bot, including lost games, lost MMR, or any other in-game outcome.

Changes to the service

The bot may be modified, restricted, or discontinued at any time without notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
